Cruso & Wilkin are an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors, Auctioneers and Valuers. Formally based in King’s Lynn they had recently moved to a farm property at Hillington.
Acorn Works was recommend by a mutual supplier and we were pleased to be able to step in and help with the move to their lovely new premises. The farm style setting provided more office space as well as plenty of room to further grow into.
Project Outline
After first surveying the space we submitted several furniture designs to suit the company’s key requirements. This included factoring in much needed extra storage as well as the ability to seat varying numbers of people.
We provided a range of options at different levels of spend so that the client had a real choice in terms of their decision making.
After the layout and furniture requirements were agreed, we presented various samples on finishing options. This allowed Cruso & Wilkin to customise the final look of the area to better align with their corporate colours, the existing building finishes and their rural setting.
Project Challenges
We arranged for all deliveries to arrive on site on the day of install. This was the most convenient option for our client meaning that they didn’t need to find storage space for the furniture and materials in the days before work began. To achieve this, tight project management and precise timelines were required, without room for slippage.
The new furniture was then built and placed into position, along with the storage cupboards pedestals and screens, in a single day. Our experienced team completed the install without any issues ready for move in day for the client.
