This hi-tech manufacturing client wanted full refurbishment with a new, refreshing look for their works canteen area, and a new training room facility built to match. Carried out in just 10 working days this project was complete on time and to budget to ensure the staff welfare facility was not closed for any longer than necessary. The refurbishment included new feature flooring with contrasting curved walkways, and a modern, low-maintenance, high-gloss kitchen installation with black mirror chip worktops and integrated fridge and dishwasher units. This was finished with a breakfast bar area, custom built recycling & waste bins, white MFC top circular tables and multi-coloured polypropylene shell chairs. At the end of the canteen a part glazed partition wall was built to create a new training room containing new cantilever meeting chairs and rectangular meeting tables. This inclusion into the existing footprint of the area created a far more flexible use of space. The client has now asked for our specification to be extended to provide some corporate signage and a full bespoke AV installation to the new area.
