An existing client came to us recently with a conundrum. They had an existing mezzanine floor, which was being used for storage, however it had no access. Could it be converted into additional office space for their warehouse staff?

Perhaps the most challenging aspect of this job was the staircase which had to be custom designed to best fit the space, without taking up valuable room for warehouse storage of products.

We love a challenge at Acorn Works and we were sure we could help our client. Once calculations had been made to ensure that the floor structure was suitable for office space, we created a layout which best used the area.

New partition walls, dry lining and a suspended ceiling were fitted to create the office. A new external window was also installed to let-in natural light and ventilation before new flooring and an electrical layout were fitted.
