Working for one of our oldest customers in a facility we had last revamped 15 years ago, Acorn’s brief was to make new space for changing and evolving needs including changes to the first floor partition walls. This high spec facility included much obsolete true wood veneered partition walls, and the brief was to create new meeting, office and call centre space while remaining sympathetic to the remaining facility. This busy insurance office demanded out of hours and quiet working to avoid impacting on the customer’s activities.
Our own electrical and data team, working closely with the client’s IT department, restructured the cabling in the working areas without damage to existing facilities, and always maintaining continuity of service and supply. The full brief involved new partition walls, ceilings and flooring, full M & E to include data, lighting, power, fire alarm and mechanical ventilation, as well as the finishes and the office furniture. Delivered on time, and on budget.
