Acorn was appointed project manager of this office refurbishment project, responsible for all areas of the refurbishment including building control and DDA compliance. The units required a full stripout to enable the refurbishment work to begin. Once this had taken place new dry-lining and repairs to the main structure were carried out, before Acorn installed new doors and bespoke windows to the units and with ramps being installed at the entrances in line with the DDA regulations.

The full mechanical and electrical package was designed and installed including new distribution boards along with electrics, lighting, heating, air conditioning, smoke detection and hot water facilities. Fire rated walls were installed and office partition walls were used to apportion space. Fresh new kitchen and toilet facilities were created in each unit, including disabled fixtures and alarms. New suspended ceilings were installed throughout the units with contract carpet and vinyl flooring installed. 

To finish off the refurbishment, blinds were fitted to complement the decorated walls and provide a uniform finish to the office interiors.
