Workshop & Office Refurbishment Project - Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Major workshop and office refurbishment works were required to enable this marine cable company to improve their space utilisation, including the segregation of their existing warehouse from the office areas.
A brief was issued and Acorn worked very closely with the client to make sure that all their requirements and specifications were met for both practical and aesthetic purposes. Complete 3D plans were presented for a full aspect view of design and for building control application. All works were carried out in accordance with the company’s specific codes of practice and safe working practices on site.
A strong and cost-effective fire rated compartmentation wall was constructed to improve safety, as well as a double skin, steel partition finished in corporate colours.
Industrial storage was designed and fitted in the new stores area. A new suite of offices required partition walls with suspended ceilings and included new lighting, power, data, heating, screens, storage and furniture. New windows were installed in the external walls to increase the amount of natural light and enhance the working environment.
